Gavin made a career change in 2002 and took both his CPE and LPC qualifications at Staffordshire University. After gaining a distinction in the LPC he worked the Birmingham office of a leading Personal Injury firm. He qualified as a Solicitor in June 2008, completing his training in a specialist firm in London.

He joined the expanding Litigation department at Brownings in February 2009 in order to specialise in Personal Injury . He has experience in all aspects of Personal Injury work including road traffic accident claims, accidents at work and slipping and tripping accidents.

Away from work Gavin has now retired (again..) from playing rugby. He travels all over the country sailing various types of sailing boats competitively. He has also competed at World Championship level all over Northern Europe as well as in Australia & New Zealand.
