Paul Broad qualified as a solicitor in 1979 following completion of his training with a prominent Warwickshire firm. Paul joined the firm in July 1981 and (as was the normal practice in those days) undertook a variety of legal work including a large amount of residential conveyancing. Paul became a partner of the firm in November 1982.
Paul has gained experience in various types of legal work over the years. From 1994 onwards he has concentrated on commercial work. Experience was gained in commercial property as well as Landlord and Tenant matters. He has also dealt with the sale and purchase of business assets and share sale or Company takeover agreements as well as providing general advice to businesses and preparing commercial documents. Being involved as a businessman himself as a partner of the firm assists him in understanding the needs and demands of modern business and enables him to relate to business clients and therefore assist in effective solutions to business problems.
Paul's work involves corporate, commercial property and development work (an area of law where he has acquired considerable expertise). He deals with complex company and commercial transactions involving specialist commercial documentation. He is also highly experienced in negotiating and helping to successfully steer clients through transactions, He acts for builders, developers and also private individuals and companies in commercial transactions particularly where there is a need for a high degree of legal expertise and negotiating skills.
